Well the summer is almost gone.
I've been working hard in my day job most of it, and then at last, I managed to get away for two weeks. And away I was, not in the distance sense, but away from electronics engineering, from computers and Internet. Although the last is not completely true as I had my mobile with me and I checked the weather forecast twice... All this time I did nothing on CEELD, and now I'm a bit hasty to prepare the new version, V2.0 I was planning to make a nice graphical front-end to welcome users and prompt them to download and install E.E. software with a few clicks. Software not already Installed for not being in the repositories or for their limiting licenses or for not being open source at all like LTSpice (under WINE). Unfortunately I don't have much time now. I'll release it as is, and probably I'll add stuff later. Expect V2.0 later today or tomorrow! Some minor fixes.
Some applications added (Librecad for general design, Qelectrotech for electric diagrams, mathematics software...) This will be the last version based on OpenSuse 11.3 - the next will be with 11.4. It's just that not all apps are built for 11.4 yet. OpenSuse 11.4 on KDE is a very good and beautiful distro. I hope the new version built on 11.4 will be soon ready. Just don't ask me when - I don't know yet. Have fun! Do you like the current logo?   One of CEELD's happy users, suggested this electric eel. Do you think it should be used somewhere?
By the way, Thanks Andrea! I have finally managed to post some new screenshots of the new version of the desktop.
The wallpaper was on a site with free wallpapers, I don't remember witch... If you find it has a restricting copyright, please inform me so I can remove it from next release. There is also a new release up, version 0.1.3. I just added eclipse IDE, that I am not so sure if I must keep it, and Virtualbox so you can install and test anything from inside CEELD. I have also made a couple or more changes in some other packages, nothing big. Comments welcome... Have Fun! Cycler Ooooupsssss!

Based on OpenSuse 11.3 with KDE4 for 32bit not very old systems. I hope you like it.... Tell me what you think anyway! Cycler Please test the distro if you have time and tell me what you think.
